• YES. MEATER Pro XL's max ambient temperature is 1000°F. Seariously.
  
  If you reach the temperature limit, the MEATER app will warn you of the high heat.

How far can my phone get from my MEATER Pro XL?

• Using WiFi Mode, your phone can be monitoring the cook within your whole WiFi network.
  
  If you're logged into your MEATER Cloud account, you can monitor the cook ANYWHERE as long as your phone has an internet connection.
