Other than accurate temperature readings, 2 other features that smoker thermometers must have are a reliable long-range connection and a min/max alarm on a probe. The SnS-500 wireless meat thermometer ticks all these boxes.

It comes with 2 short probes that you can use to measure your cooking chamber temperature or probe it in your meat and 2 longer meat probes. Every probe has the option to program in a minimum and maximum alarm, if more competition pit masters swallowed their pride and embraced this feature, they wouldn't be napping while their pit temperatures start to drop, putting them out of a podium finish. A min/max alarm is not just for competitions, it's for everyone, it lets you walk around and not stress about what your pit is doing. If for some reason your pit temperature spikes or drops, the preset alarms will sound warning you to go have a look and fix the issue.

The Remote Digital Multi Probe Thermometer isn't connected via bluetooth so it is not limited to the minimal temperamental range that bluetooth offers. The transmitter communicates with its receiver via RF signals meaning you get an amazing and stable long-range connection.
