Sausage Seasoning Kit – Greek Gyros | Home Butchers. The classic Greek tastes of garlic, onion, and citrus meld with smoked salt to pay tribute to the flavours found in Gyros/Souvlaki. This seasoning for sausage can also double as a seasoning for hamburgers.
Best paired with: Lamb, Chicken and Beef
Size:
5kg Batch – 45gms per 1kg of meat
What you need:
- 5kg Lamb, Chicken and/or Pork (approximately 30% fat)
- 250mL Red Wine (Preferably Shiraz or Grenache)
- 250mL water, chilled
- 1pk Carnivore Collective Greek Gyros Sausage Mix
Method:
1. Mince meat with a fine to medium plate.
2. Combine spices and water with meat.
3. Mix thoroughly, kneading the meat until it is sticky.
4. Fill chosen casings.
