Slow Burner Tex Mex Rub

Our favourite method of cooking inspired the flavour of the Slow Burner Tex Mex rub. This rub may be used for a variety of grilling techniques, including low and slow smoking as well as hot and fast grilling.
Also created to give any meal an instant Mexican flavour boost!
Ingredients:

A 'Rub' is a word that refers to a barbecue spice rather than the technique of application.
Applying a rub in layers is the best method. Begin by sprinkling a little layer evenly over the meat or whatever is cooking. To increase the flavor, layer the rub on top of each other. Allow the rub to work its magic as soon as it is applied in even layers, resisting the urge to use binders such as mustard or oils.
