Our Hooded Cyprus Spit | Stainless Steel has all the features of the SP006 Straight 3 skewer in-line Cyprus Spit with the added benefit of a lid that will allow you to speed up the cooking by turning your spit into an oven. Leave the‚ hood open and it will act as a windbreak or close your lid and intensify the smokey flavour of your meat.

To use, you can load all of the three main skewers with meat‚ and cook them so they are ready at the same time. If you are just cooking for yourself then you can put a roast only on one of the skewers and enjoy a meal you would expect from the best restaurants in town. You don't need to use all the skewers but they are there for when you need them.

Just like your traditional 3 skewer clover design Cyprus Grills, the straight 3 skewer mechanism works with the same principle but with the benefit of cooking all 3 skewers at the same temperature through the cook so theoretically, they should be ready at the same time. With this Cyprus Spit model comprising 3 skewers in a straight line, it makes it perfect but not limited to cooking Picanha and kokoretsi on all 3 skewers or gyros on the 2 outer skewers.
