A meal used to be made up of whatever was in season and growing on the land. And a wood-fired oven was used to prepare everything.

The ambience of having a meal with family or friends around a table adjacent to the wood oven was always unique. The wood oven would transform a simple and frequently subpar meal into a delicatessen. Such a wonderful tradition.
