Tuffy Stone: Unleashing Barbecue Excellence with the Legendary Pitmaster

Tuffy Stone is a classically trained French chef, television personality, and accomplished pitmaster who has emerged as the most successful man on the competitive barbecue circuit in recent years.

Since 2009, he has served as a judge and host on the Destination America reality television show BBQ Pitmasters. Tuffy is the head chef for the “Cool Smoke” team and co-owner of four Q Barbeque restaurants in Richmond, Virginia. Rancho T, his fifth restaurant, opened in April 2015. Tuffy was best known as one of Virginia's premier caterers as the co-owner and proprietor of A Sharper Palate Catering, a top-rated catering and events firm in Richmond, prior to his success in the competition barbecue scene. He has won Grand Champion in almost every major barbecue competition on the circuit. Stone won two World Championships in 2013 while only competing in eight contests, and he followed that up with another World Championship title in 2014, winning the American Royal Open.
